Mwinilunga Fuel Shortage Enters Week 3

Acting Mwinilunga District Commissioner Mwiya Tulani has accused  Petrol Link a company running Mwinilunga fuel service station of having caused an artificial fuel shortage in the district.

Mr Tulani has noted with disappointment that the district has had no supply of fuel for the past three weeks and that the situation has contributed to fuel vending on the black market where venders are scandalously exploiting motorists.

Mr Tulani said fuel shortage should be absolutely a thing of the past as the country has enough stock of fuel through bulk petroleum reserves government has put up in all the provinces and Northwestern is not unexceptional.

He said there are a lot of social and economic activities that are taking place in the district such as mining and other economic undertakings that do not need an interruption in the fuel chain supply.
